Fruitcake (or fruit cake) is a cake made with chopped candied fruit and/or dried fruit, nuts, and spices, and (optionally) soaked inspirits. A cake that simply has fruit in it as an ingredient can also be colloquially called a fruitcake. In the United Kingdom, certain rich versions may be iced and decorated. Fruitcakes are often served in celebration of weddings and Christmas.
Fruitcakes are delicious, especially during Christmas season. They're 'pa-uso' (or very in) these time of the year. Some love it because of the colorful ingredients. But some would never eat it because it taste very different and has a rum inside swirling. But to tell you, it's very unique.
But for some reasons, when we think about fruit cakes, we only think about FOOD! But Fruit cakes however is used a slang word for A CRAZY PERSON. Example: You're a fruit cake! You're nuts!
