"The Best of Stress"

You may be worried about grades, struggling with finances, or feeling anxious about a relationship. Life is full of changes and events (good and not-so-good) that may cause stress.

Stress is your physical, emotional, and mental response to change, regardless of whether the change is good or bad. Without some stress, people wouldn't get a lot done. The extra burst of adrenaline that helps you finish a paper on time, compete in sports, or meet any other challenge is positive stress.


                                                              The rumors are true. 
                                          I AM STRESSED OUT
Because I'm a human (questionable) I am subject to stress day in and day out. While I need some amount of stress to be healthy (like the muscle overload principle), stress can have harmful side effects…



               Weight Gain – stress increases cortisol levels and contributes to weight gain
             "Yes, at habang stressed ako, lamon ako ng lamon. Wala akong pinapatawad."
                     I eat soap chips, Tide Ultra, Downy and Joy are my beautiful dessert.
                                                   Maybe I am a stress eater they say.
             "Kulang na lang Abono't fertilizer ngatain ko parang lang ma  relieve ang stress ko."

Insomnia – overstressing can lead to not sleeping well, which presents its own whole set of problems…
